Diverse. Tuition-Free. College Prep.

Offering a world-class, classical, liberal arts curriculum in the heart of Indianapolis, Riverside High School is creating a new standard for excellence in public education.

Riverside High School is a member of the Indianapolis Classical Schools network and the second campus of award-winning Herron High School. Riverside is a tuition-free, intentionally-diverse, public charter high school located on the near northwest side of downtown Indianapolis. It is founded on the belief that a classical, liberal arts education is the best preparation for a future life of leadership and service. Riverside currently serves 325 freshmen, sophomores and juniors at its new permanent location in the historic former Heslar Naval Armory. Beginning in 2020-21, we will increase our enrollment to 450 students     in grades 9-12.
