Riverside High School offers a growing list of extracurricular clubs & activities to encourage its scholars to pursue their personal interests and to develop into engaged citizens. Students can choose to join a student club or to participate on an athletics team. All clubs are created and run by students and are sponsored by a Riverside High School faculty member.
Riverside High School’s teams compete against other schools from across Central Indiana but are not yet eligible to compete in IHSAA postseason tournaments. Its athletics teams include boys and girls basketball, cross-country, boys and girls soccer, track & field, and volleyball. Like the school itself, the athletic department and sport offerings will grow over the next four years.
Riverside High School is diverse-by-design and celebrates diversity among its students in many forms. We strive to maintain a safe environment where students are free to be themselves. Our diverse student populations promotes friendships among students from different backgrounds and uniquely prepares students for success in a global society.
Consistent with our Core Values, Riverside High School students engage in an urban community by volunteering with nonprofits and community partners, completing internships with local organizations, and visiting and attending arts and cultural organizations and events.
